The school has networked with a premier Institute called ACE (Academic Centre for Excellence in IIT-JEE) to provide quality coaching for students interested in appearing for All India Competitive Examinations like IIT JEE, CET and AIEEE. ACE is headed by Dr. Sridhar who has obtained his B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and his Ph.D. from John Hopkins University, U.S.A.

The IIT-JEE program spans two years and commences when students are in the class XI. Classes commence during the first week of May and students travel in the school bus to the study centre and they have classes 4 days a week. The total contact hours per subject is around 150 hours per year. The teaching modules are conceptual than rote learning. The theory behind the concept is first explained in detail and students are then exposed to a variety of problems and questions based on that concept. The home assignment ensures that a student practises questions based on the concept while a test verifies his or her actual understanding.

This project is jointly sponsored by ACE and Kumarans. Each year we have a fair number of students qualifying in IIT and other examinations.
