EQUBE – Enabling Evolutionary Excellence

Academic institutions, today and always have served as a valuable platform for young minds to come together and mutually evolve. The dynamic and challenging times we live in today invokes the need for education to go beyond the regular academic realms and prepare its students for life

Our self-enquiry process ignites the possibility of empowering students to understand and live up to their full potential in all that they are engaged in. The program fosters the understanding that life is a series of experiences and what we tend to learn from these stories of our life become the beliefs that we start living. Once aware of the same, one can choose to be an appropriate learner in any context. This orientation helps anchor to our life purpose and explores all possible avenues for self-growth.

Eqube addresses the five formative years of a child's growth, from the 5th to the 9th standard. Each year is designed with 22 sessions of forty minutes duration for middle school and 12 sessions of 80 minutes duration for high school integrated with action oriented classroom and life projects. The sessions are seamlessly integrated with the school’s academic schedule and evolve with the class dynamics. Enhancing them with practical modules help internalize the learning and provides a healthy cross linkage among institutions like the family, school and the community. Students understand formation of beliefs and learn to identify the causes of problems and manage change rather than attempting a temporary modification of behaviour. Some specific areas explored are:

Self awareness

The realization that each one of us has the ability to be all that we want to be and is truly a reservoir of unlimited potential. Understanding one's own strengths to hone it further and identifying limitations to work on and grow.

Communication

What does it take to effectively communicate with clarity, conviction and be context-sensitive. The beliefs that facilitate listening and communication and those that stop us from being an open and objective communicator.

Gender awareness

To understand the innate need in self to identify with gender and therefore the beliefs that one forms which restrict us from realizing our potential. This also brings into them an ability to interact confidently with others and learn from all individuals around them.

Holistic health

The appreciation for keeping the body fit by understanding practices that are ancient Asian ways of life, derived from Ayurveda and Yoga. Children learn the meaning and reasoning behind choices of food and digestive processes and learn to go back to nature to derive energy than get influenced by instant food.

Teamwork

What team work really means and how winning doesn't have to mean 'to win over others' and how collaboration brings about a win-win situation and is 'winning' in the true sense. What are the beliefs that facilitate sharing, Learning and executing the task as a team member.
