Educators today are constantly striving to maximize the innate potential of every student who comes under their tutelage. Children from different backgrounds often feel overwhelmed when exposed to a deluge of subjects. Our Facilitators therefore have embarked on a project to create practice books to reinforce micro teaching capturing otherwise expansive concepts in a succinct manner. The process initiated at the Primary Level received an excellent response. This triggered the second phase of the exercise wherein all our facilitators, handling classes I to XII are currently involved in developing these Practice books.

Benefits of practice book in the long run:

• The workbook would help in streamlining class work and homework to a large extent.
• Reduce the number of books/ papers bought initially by a parent.
• The workbook will work as a substitute for class work and home work and revision work during exams.
• Providing them adequate practice to do worksheets, tests and exams.
• Workbooks can be used for continuous assessment grading too.
• Workbooks can help children to get an idea about the kind of assessments done during their worksheets and exams.

Making of workbooks…

…gave an insight into the subjects. We had to think differently to frame out of the box questions. The experience helped in sharpening our skills to perceive a concept in different ways.
